Store and house now house divided into flats. Circa late C18. Painted and rendered
stone rubble with asbestos slate roof with gable ends. Stone rubble chimney stack on
left-hand gable end. Further projecting stone rubble wing at higher end with scantle
slate roof continuing slope of main range. Original plan uncertain but now a pair of

Built on side of harbour. 4-storey elevation to rear with 3-storey elevation to
front. 3-window asymmetrical front. Ground floor with steps leading down to
entrance to basement on right. C20 2-light casement with glazing bars above in
ground floor. Ground rises to right and 2 flights of stone rubble steps lead up to
the ground floor entrances of The Moorings and Haven Cottage. 4-panel door and C20
glazed door, both beneath continuous slate lean-to hood. First floor with two 2-
light casements with glazing bars beneath timber lintels. Second floor with 2-light
casement and C20 window on right, both with glazing bars. Projecting forward on
right, stone rubble wing of 3 storeys with entrance to store on ground floor on front
and side entrance adjoining that of Haven Cottage. 4-pane sash and C20 fenestration
on front.
Rear elevation rises from harbour wall and faces harbour. Low rendered balcony
projects beyond the harbour walls on ground floor. 3-window asymmetrical front with
4-pane sashes and 2-light casements with glazing bars. The rear elevation is an
important feature of Polperro Harbour and is largely unaltered.
