House and shop. Probably mid C19 although possibly remodelling of earlier building.
Rendered stone rubble with incised quoins above ground floor. Slate roof with gabled
ends. Rendered brick shaft to front lateral stack. On sloping site with 3-storey
gabled front elevation. Ground floor with large C20 shop window. Moulded string
course to front elevation above ground floor. First floor with 4-pane sash beneath
decoratively moulded plasterwork. Second floor with 4-pane sash in segmental moulded
arched opening. Decorative barge boards in gable.
Elevation to Fore Street with stair projection at higher end on left, 6-pane fielded
panelled door with rectangular opening above with margin glazing bars. Lateral
rendered chimney stack to right.
Interior of Homeside,above shop with C19 ceiling beams and C19 stair in stair
projection.
