Small house. C18, some walling to west rebuilt in the C19. Painted killas rubble
and cob walls. Timber lintels. Corrugated asbestos roof formerly thatched with
brick chimneys over gable ends. Right-hand gable end was at one time party wall with
house to right (east) since mostly demolished. Originally 2-room plan with central
through passage, internal partitions removed and now 1 rectangular room.
2 storeys. Slightly irregular 2-window south front, probably originally symmetrical
but ground floor left window in partly rebuilt walling to left of doorway now spaced
farther to left. Central doorway with 4-panel door. Circa late C19 4-pane horned
sashes. Remains of former front wall of further house to right.
Interior has C19 stair against back wall to right. Otherwise surviving structure of
ceiling beams, floor boards and roof structure is C18. Large chimney breast to right
(east).
One of the few small houses in this part of Cornwall to have survived little altered
