Pair of houses, formerly bake house. Possibly late C18. Painted brick to ground
floor, slate hung over. Half-hipped asbestos slate roof with painted brick chimneys
over splayed external rubble breasts to side walls. 2 room, double depth plans.
2 storeys over basement plus attic. Similar 2 window north and south fronts
with paired wooden box porches with console brackets. North front has original
16-pane, 2-light casements. Slate sills. Later raking roof dormers.
Interior of Treblok is little altered with delicate ovolo mouldings to ground
floor beams, all original floors and roof structure with pegged truss apexes
and nailed collars and many original 2-panel doors. Remains of large brick domed
oven in basement.
