House adjoining holy well of Saint Mawes. Early-mid C19 possibly remodelled older
house and possibly incorporating walling of Medieval chapel. Painted slatestone
rubble walls asbestos slate roof with brick chimneys over gable end right and party
wall, left. 2 room, double depth, central stair plan. 2 storeys. 2 window south
front and 2 window east gable end on street corner. South front has central doorway
with top glazed C20 door, window over and ground and first floor windows left, all
horned 12-pane sashes as are those to ground floor windows left. Shallow brick
arches except round arched openings to first floor of gable end with arch headed,
horned 12-pane sashes. Gable end has clear evidence of some rebuilding.
Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
