description shall be deleted.

Schoolroom and Masters House, now house. Datestone 1844. Slatestone rubble with
granite dressings and asbestos slate roofs with gable ends. Original brick stack
with diagonally set shafts over ridge at junction of schoolroom and side wall of
adjoining schoolhouse. T-shaped plan comprising Schoolroom to front left, 2-storey
gable ended schoolmasters house in centre projects slightly and 2-storey gable-ended
C19/C20 wing right. Schoolmaster's house 2 rooms deep with 2-light granite chamfered
window openings with hoodmould in gable end on each floor. C19/C20 wing similar,
but stone bay of 4-lights under leaded hipped bay roof. Schoolroom 2 pairs of 3-
light granite chamfered window openings under hood moulds. Dormer gables over each
schoolroom window may be C20. All casements are C20 plated wood casements. Exposed
purlins under slightly projecting eaves and verges. Cusped ventilator over entrance
doorway with chamfered frame and hood mould to schoolroom in west gable.
