The first two sentences of the description shall be amended to read - 'Rectory
now house. Probably circa 1700 but partly rebuilt and remodelled C18 and 1924'.

Rectory. Probably circa 1700 but partly rebuilt and remodelled circa mid C19.
Slatestone original walls and slatestone with granite dressings to additions.
Delabole slate roofs with gable ends and brick stacks with diagonally set brick
shafts. Gable and lateral stack to original part, gable and axial stack to rear.
Originally probably 2-room plan but now with C19 rear wing and lower rear parallel
range. 2 storeys. 5-window front. Wide entrance in fourth ground floor opening
with pair of C20 French windows with marginal glazing. Hipped roofed hood on wooden
brackets over. Flanking wood sashes 3 and 5 with dropped sills. All other wood
sashes to front are tall with 9 glazing bars per sash. Original flat arches to
ground floor and moulded eaves cornice possibly copy or reuse of original one.
Upper front walling rebuilt C19. C19 wood sashes with glazing bars to external
elevations of wing and rear range.
Remains of arch headed timber gates between brick piers below entrance front.
Interior not inspected.
