Hic Jacet sepultis Johannes Marten Junior de Trefonick qui obijt tertio die Maij Ano Domi 1626

May'st, dost, or raust, thou feare,
My gentle freiend
To view the goale, where to mankind doth tend
From to earth, must earth returne againe
Either by accident or lingringe pain:
The only way to sollace thee in death,
Is to be confident in him whose breath,
Whose bloud expird was shedd to ransom all
To heavenly ioyes from hell's eternall thrall.
