Detached chimney associated with Blue Hills mine. Circa early-mid C19 killas rubble
to lower stage, brick to upper stage. Round on plan.
2-stage stepped tapered chimney. Lower stage is built of 3 different kinds of rubble
laid in 3 bands; narrower upper stage is red brick, producing an overall polychrome
banded effect but with much colour variation within the bands.
Part of Blue Hills Mine.
