Farmhouse with adjoining building left (west) probably also originally a house.
Circa late C18. Painted killas rubble and cob, rendered to front of house.
Corrugated asbestos roof (formerly thatched) sweeping lower over original stair
projection to rear, right, and with brick chimneys over gable ends. large buttressed
external rubble breast to right. Building on 2 levels, to left, ahs painted rubble
walling, slate sills, wooden lintels and corrugated iron roofs with gable ends.
Plan of house is of 2 unequal rooms with projection to rear of right-hand room.
Building to left is also of 2 rooms plus 1 room single-storey building to left
(west).
2 storeys. Overall 4-window south facing range. Nearly symmetrical 2-window house
to right with doorway slightly off-centre to right with C20 glazed door. Ground
floor windows are 4-pane horned sashes but first floor window are original 16-pane
hornless sashes. 2-window front of adjoining building, left, has central doorway
with ledged door. Original 16-pane horned sash to ground floor, right. First floor
windows over left-hand window and over doorway, both with 8-pane fixed lights.
Small building adjoining to far left has window, left, and doorway right.
Interior of house has unmoulded beams to ground floor rooms. First floor and roof
structure not inspected.
