SW 62 SW BREAGE

7/17 Farm building at approx 10m south
east of Tranno Farmhouse

GV II

Probably stabling. Circa early-mid C19. Killas rubble with granite quoins,
jambstones and lintels. Scantle slate roof with gable ends on 2 levels.
Plan: left hand part single storey divided into 3 cells for stables or possibly pigs
integral right hand 2-storey part probably originally one rectangular room with
fodder storage over but ground floor later subdivided.
North front: single storey with 3 original doorways, left, 2 storey part, right,
with original ground floor doorway towards right and 1st floor window towards left
plus 2 later ground floor doorways, left of middle and left, with shallow brick
arches. Old ledged doors and shuttered window.
Interior not inspected.
Part of a planned group relating to a farmhouse of similar date and the whole
unextended and little altered since the C19. Set in unspoiled open coastal farmland.
