A Grade II Listed Building in St Ives, Cornwall

The Baulking House, St Ives

Uploader's Comments

The Baulking House on the South West Coast Path leaving St Ives. Thought to be from the early nineteenth century, it was used as a huer's hut, where a 'huer' would look out for shoals of pilchards in St Ives Bay and use hand signals to direct the seine boats towards the shoal.
