ST JULIOT
SX 19 SW
2/132 Middle Beeny
- II
Farmhouse. Possibly early C18. Slate stone rubble. Slate roof with gable ends and
higher slate roof with gable end to taller range on left. End stacks with axial
stack to left of centre.
Full inspection not accessible at time of survey. Possibly a 3 room and cross or
through passage plan, the larger right hand room heated by a gable end stack and the
smaller central room heated by an axial stack. It is uncertain whether the left hand
room, in the taller range on left, was a later addition or a remodelling.
2 storeys. Overall 1:3 window front with taller range on left. The lower range on
right has a 2-light casement to left of entrance and two 2-light casements to right
with three 2-light casements in half dormers with raking roofs on first floor.
Interior not accessible.
Particularly important building in landscape.
