8/8 Lower Tregender, including front
- garden walls and gate piers

House, front garden walls and gate piers. Circa early C19. Granite ashlar front,
otherwise painted rubble. Scantle slate roofs with brick chimneys over the gable
ends.
Plan: shallow double-depth plan house with 2 rooms at the front and cross passage
between leading to central stair between shallow service rooms. The left-hand room,
probably the kitchen is slightly wider. Adjoining the left hand gable end of the
house and set back from the front is a single-storey wash house with a lean-to earth
closet, far left.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 3 window south front with doorway central to
the fenestration. Circa early C20 glazed porch in front of doorway. Original 12-
pane hornless sashes.
Interior: not inspected.
Granite rubble garden walls with dressed granite cambered copings and round-headed
granite gate piers.
