Uploader's Comments

The ancient Town Hall also called the Guildhall where the Court Leet was held. It was originally supported on four granite pillars which were removed in the late 1800's leaving the ground floor open for use as a Market Place. The upper floor was the Town Council Chamber, and contues to be used for Parish Council Meetings.
