Lodge to Carnanton House (q.v. in Mawgan-in-Pydar parish). Early C19 with C20
alterations and additions. Stone rubble, partly rendered. Hipped asbestos slate
roof; stack at the left side with rendered shaft.
Plan: One main room with canted front, heated from a stack at the left side, with
small service rooms at the rear and in a one-room plan wing the right side.
Exterior: Single storey, on plinth, the front left is canted with 3 sides; central
door with 8 fielded panels and overlight; 12-pane sash of early C19 to left and
right. To the right side a one-room plan wing with 12-pane sash with voussoirs and
keystone to front. Left side of the main range has central stack with blind window
to right and 12-pane sash to left. Service wing to left with coping, and single
light, and small terminal pavilion with hipped roof and 2-light 2-pane casement.
Interior: Not inspected.
