Lodge to Carnanton House (q.v. in Mawgan-in-Pydar parish). Early C19 with few later
alterations. Slatestone rubble with granite dressings. Hipped bitumenised slate
roof. Central stack with granite ashlar shaft.
Plan: 3-room plan, with central entrance leading directly into the main central room
which is canted at the front; small room to right and left, with small C20 addition
to rear.
Exterior: Single storey on plinth; front has a canted bay, with central early C19 4-
panelled door with pilasters and granite cornice on consoles. Early C19 12-pane sash
to right and left. Each wing to right and left has an early C19 12-pane sash with
voussoirs and keystone. The right side has an early C19 12-pane sash. Left side
also has early C19 12-pane sash and blocked window to left. Rear has single storey
C20 addition.
Interior: The central room hasa slate chimney-piece to rear.
