Kirkgate House


Early Cl9. Roughcast, slate roof, pilaster strips, 2 storeys. A 6-panelled door
and plain fanlight in plain stone frame. 2 sash windows on ground floor and 3
above, with vertical glazing bars and plain stone dressings. A larger house than
others in the street, and set back behind a garden.

Nos 13, Nos 17 to 25 (odd), Nos 31 to 55 (odd), No 38, Nos 46 to 86 (even) together with Nos 47A and Kirkgate House form a group.
