Early C19. 2 storeys, scored stucco, slate roof. No 36 is corner shop with angle
doorway and 2 small shop windows, with sash windows above in stone architraves.
Left hand return wall has warehouse door above, and pulley over. No 38 is to rear,
at corner of churchyard, similar, with iron lampholder on angle beside churchyard
footpath. Cobbles in front, in small square in front of Kirkgate House garden.

No 13, Nos 17 to 25 (odd), Nos 31 to 55 (odd), No 38, Nos 46 to 86 (even)
together with No 47A and Kirkgate House form a group.
