House. Early - mid C19 with some C20 alterations. Rendered stone rubble. Slurried
scantle slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends. Stacks removed.
Plan: 2-room plan with central entrance. Originally the house had no internal
staircase, and the first floor rooms had access only from an external stair at the
rear.
Exterior: 2 storeys, symmetrical 2-window front. At the first floor there are two
C19 12-pane sashes with cambered arches. Ground floor has C19 12-pane sash with
cambered arch to left and right with central C20 door. Small single storey C20
addition to front left. The sides abut the adjoining houses. At the rear there are
two late C19 4-pane sashes at first floor and central external stair leading to a
glazed porch, the doorway blocked. Small C20 porch at ground floor to right with
half-glazed door and single window.
