House. C18, with alterations and additions of C19 and C20. Rendered stone rubble.
Asbestos slate roof with ridge tiles; gable end to left and half-hipped to right.
Gable end stack with brick shaft to left and stack with rendered shaft to right.
Plan: 2-room plan with central entrance; each room heated from an end stack, the
kitchen to left and the parlour to right. There is a small outhouse attached to
front left, heated from a stack at the front gable end.
Exterior: 2 storeys, symmetrical 3-window front. All windows are C20 2-light 6-pane
casements. Central C20 door with sidelights. To front left there is a small single
storey outhouse with slurried scantle slate roof with ridge tiles and gable end to
front with stack with rendered shaft; three C20 casements on the inner side. The
right end is blind. The left end has external stack and abuts the adjoining house.
The rear is blind, in painted rubble.
Interior: There is a wide entrance hall with a tight open-well stair to rear with
stick balusters. C19 4-panelled door to left and right. The room to left has
fireplace rebuilt in C20.
