5/110 Banktop House

House. Dated and inscribed RW 1617 with later alterations. Painted roughcast
walls, under rebuilt C20 graduated greenslate roof with C20 red sandstone
chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 4 bays, the left part hidden by later extension.
Left C20 door in stone surround above which is a dated plaque. Right C18 double
sash windows and upper-floor Yorkshire sashes in small painted stone surrounds.
Interior has beamed ceiling. Later right-angled extension is not of interest.
