Small detached cottage. C19. Roughcast cob on stone plinth; gabled-end thatched
roof. Formerly a 2-room cottage (now a single room to ground floor) heated by end
stacks with brick shafts. C20 brick leanto extension to rear. 2 storeys.
Front: symmetrical 2 window range; tall 2-light casement windows to each floor,
those to 1st floor with shallow eyebrow eaves. Central thatched porch.
Interior: with some C19 carpentry. Heathfield Cottage contributes to the village
scene and is included for group value.
