Water Tower approximately 30 metres to north-west of Pepper Arden Hall

Water tower. Mid to late C19. Red brick with yellow-brick banding. Stone
slate roof. In the style of an Italian campanile. Square in plan. Plinth
from which rise giant corniced angle pilasters which flank round-arched
recessed panels. South-west elevation has central segmental-arched
door opening at base and small single-light segmental-arched opening with
consoled sill above. Stepped and cogged cornice, stone band. Above this a
blind tripartite window with round-headed arches, the central light having a
segmental-arched opening. Stone cornice with consoles. Pyramidal roof with
weather-vane. Prominent in the landscape.
