GV II

House. Late C17 - early C18. Coursed gritstone rubble, graduated stone
slate roof, purple slate roof to lower bay. 2 storeys, 3 bays, with single-
storey bay attached on right. Central panelled door to right of centre in
moulded surround with shallow Tudor-style arch to deep lintel which has
traces of inscription, beneath a stone hood composed of 3 flat slabs.
Windows: to left of door an original 3-light recessed-chamfered mullion
window; the remainder have mullions removed and wooden frames with small
panes inserted into original openings. Single-storey bay to right: half-
glazed 4-panel door in quoined surround with large lintel; small window to
left. Brick outbuilding attached far left not of special interest.
