Row of cottages altered to form lodge. C18 or early C19. Coursed squared
tooled sandstone; Welsh slate roof with stone trim, brick stack. 2 storeys, 6
windows, irregular. Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars (except for 2 later C19
sashes). Entrance at right rear, through stone arch in wall continuous with
right return: 4-panel door in plain surround; small first-floor outshut above.
Stone gable copings and one ridge stack. Small round window in left return.
