House and cottage. Early C18. Large coursed sandstone. Pantiled roof with
stone features. 2 storeys and attic, 1 and 2 bays, large scale. 6-panel doors
in plain surrounds inserted later; (original doorway now probably in use as
window). Sash windows, those in right part with glazing bars; 2 are in raised
alternating block surrounds. Small inserted window above door of Ivy Cottage.
Moulded wood eaves cornice. Fairly high-pitched swept roof with copings and
square kneelers. 2 rebuilt ridge chimneys and 3 modern dormers.
