A Grade II Listed Building in Rossington, Doncaster

Rossington Village Pump

Uploader's Comments

In conversation with a resident of the village, I was informed that the pump was last used in the 1930's. The new colliery houses had a poor supply of water and the times the flow ceased the women took containers and filled them from the pump.
