Two attached Estate Cottages. Dated B 1854 with ducal coronet over in
rusticated and gabled framing on south gable end. Broadmayne brick walls in
Flemish bond, with rusticated dressed stone quoins. Slate roof with projecting
eaves. Brick stack at centre ridge, coupled stacks set diagonally on plinth,
with moulded cornices. 2 storeys. 2 windows, 3-light C20 wooden casements to
ground floor. 2-light above, with segmental brick arches throughout. Front
doors at left and right hand ends of west wall, plank with wooden frames, C19.
Wooden porches with trellis-work sides and gabled slate roofs. Attached service-
wings at rear, brick with gabled slate roofs.
