'Here lyeth the body of Nicholas Martyn esqvier; who departed this life & slept wth his fathers ye 23 day of March ano 1595 & left behind to inhiryt his lands iiij davghters coeheires Elizabeth, Fravnces, Jane & Anne: whose sovle as svredly doth rest, wth Abraha, Isacke & Jacob in ye Kingedom of Heaven'.

The daughters married Henry Brune, Thomas White, Henry Tichborne & Anthony Floyer
