14/9 Bridge 25 m. N of
Avington Lodge

Road bridge over cascade. Early C19. Brick with timber rails. Single arch
brick bridge with splayed abuttments. On each side heavy timber parapets of
top and bottom rails and posts crowned with finials and criss-crossed timbers
filling panels. Top rail,rises up between posts either side of centre span.
