of Ruscombe Farmhouse

Barn. Early-mid C18. Coursed and squared rubble limestone; concrete tile roof.
Five-bay barn without porches. Attached outbuildings are not of special
interest. Central barn doorway on west side with timber lintel and later
sliding plank doors. Tall slit vents. Chamfered plinth. Gable end slits,
south end with loft doorway. Oval owl holes to gable ends. Interior: 5-bay
collar and tie-beam truss roof; 2 rows of purlins. Included for Group Value.
