13/25 Railings and retaining
wall to west of
Townsend House

GV II

Railings and retaining wall. Mid-C19 with some late C20 alterations. Coursed
rubble and wrought iron. A low retaining wall about 50 metres long with central
recessed C20 gateway flanked by square gate piers. Railings have simple finials,
with urn finials to the standards. These are supported by scrolled stanchions
behind. Included for group value.
