Small house. Probably C18 but may be earlier, extended probably late C18. Painted
rubble and cob walls; thatched roof, hipped at left, brick chimney over gable end,
right, plus hipped roof at lower level adjoining gable end.
2-room plan with left-hand room built into the hillside, plus single-storey building
possibly fish cellar originally adjoining at right on lower ground.
2 storeys with first floor rooms partly in roof space. Slightly irregular 2-window
south front. Central doorway with C20 glazed door. Circa late C18 early C19 12-pane
horizontal sliding sashes to ground floor; later 2-light casements in probably
enlarged closer spaced first floor window openings. Doorway at left of single storey
part which has old 3-light casement at right-hand end and C20 roof dormer over.
Interior not inspected.
