GV Shipwrights Arms Public House

Building, probably originally fish cellars, now detached part of the public house.
Probably C18. Painted rubble walls, wooden lintels, wheat reed thatched roof with
gable ends.
Roughly L-shaped with splayed outer angle. 2 or 3 rooms. Single storey, built into
slope at left (west).
Irregular overall 3 window canted front: the left hand one window entrance bay facing
south; a 1-window splayed corner, right, and a 1-window right hand wall of the rear
wing far right. The entrance bay has roughly central doorway approached by a ramp.
Ledged door with 4-pane horned sash adjoining left hand side of doorway. The middle
bay also has 4-pane sash and the wing has a C20 3-light casement in enlarged opening.
Interior not inspected.
