cart shed 40 metres
north of-Walker Hall

Byre with hayloft over and cart shed attached to right. Early C19. Snecked
sandstone with dressed window surrounds; pantiled roofs with double row of
sandstone flags at eaves.

Byre 2 storeys, 4 bays. Ground floor pair of boarded doors slightly left of
centre; external stone staircase, boarded door and C20 opening to right; boarded
door and hit-and-miss window in raised, keyed, round-arched surround to left.
First floor boarded door in third bay_from left; 4-pane horizontal sliding sash
in similar round-arched surround to right; two hit-and-miss windows in similar
surrounds to left. Roof has coped gables with shaped kneelers.

Cart shed single storey, 3 bays; central doorway-with lowered lintel and single
breathers to left and right; right return has rebated, round-arched opening with
tooled voussoirs and pair of boarded doors. Roof has coped gable to right.
