Carn Brea Castle

A Grade II Listed Building in Carn Brea, Cornwall

Carn Brea Castle Restaurant, Redruth, Cornwall

Uploader's Comments

Carn Brea 'castle' is a folly built by the Bassett family in the 18th century on the site of a turret, which itself was previously a chapel dating from 1379. It was maintained for many years, but fell into disrepair in the 20th century. It was renovated in the 70's and became a restaurant, which was closed at the time of capture due to the covid pandemic.
