House in row. Circa late C18/early C19. Shale rubble walls, granite steps, sills,
some jambstones and archstones. Asbestos slate roof with brick chimneys over gable
ends with left-hand chimney over external stone breast.
Double depth plan of 2 front reception rooms flanking central passage leading to
central stair between rear service rooms.
3 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window south west road front. Central doorway, stucco
doorcase with moulded hood on moulded consoles with original 6-panel door with flush-
beaded bottom panels, later glazed top panels and overlights. Ground and first floor
have shallow arches with projecting keystones. Second floor window openings with
wooden lintels. All circa late C19 horned sashes; those to ground floor in wider
openings are tripartite sashes.
