Milestone. Probably circa late C19. Painted dressed granite monolith.
Triangular-on-plan vertical-sided shaft over rectangular base. 2 rectangular sides of the shaft face the road obliquely and rise from pyramidal stops.
Each of these sides has incised lettering and Arabic numerals. Pyramidal head
Left-hand side inscription : HELSTON 2 MILES.
Right-hand side inscription : HAYLE 8 MILES, CAMBORNE 8 MILES.
