Cottage, empty at time of survey (1987). Probably late C17 or C18. Rendered cob and
stone rubble; thatched roof, gabled at right end, half-hipped at left end; left end
stack (truncated shaft), right end stack with handmade brick shaft.
Plan: The main block, fronting the road is probably 2 rooms wide, a smaller single-
storey block is set back but adjoins at the right end, entrance into a modern lean-to
adjoining the set-back block.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 3 window front with a mixture of probably C20
small pane timber casements.
Interior: Not inspected.
Group value with Barton View and Vicarage View opposite.
