House. Circa early to mid C18. Plastered cob walls. Half-hipped thatch roof.
Projecting rendered rubble stack at each end with brick shaft, similar rear lateral
stack.
Plan: principal rooms at the front, both heated, one either side of entrance hall,
narrower service rooms at the rear with kitchen to the left heated by rear lateral
stack.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front of probably original 3-light
windows which have had C20 replacement leaded lights fitted. Central late C20
thatch roof porch with French windows.
Interior: kitchen fireplace has large wooden mantelpiece and surround which may be
original. Panelled shutters to front window and circa early C19 classical
chimneypiece survives in left-hand room.
