Cottage. Probably early C19, late C20 rear extension. Local grey limestone rubble
the right end rendered; thatched roof hipped at ends of main range; axial stone
rubble stack at centre.
The original building is single depth, 2 rooms wide, the rooms probably sharing the
central stack with a front door to right of centre. Cottage orne style.
2 storeys. Asymmetrical 3 window front with a stone gabled porch to right of centre
with an arched outer doorway and an early C19 plank and stud front door with strap
hinges. Symmetrical fenestration with segmental arches to the window openings. First
floor windows left and right are 2-light casements, 3 panes per light, central recess
with a sham window painted on the render. Similar casement to ground floor left, the
central ground floor window is blocked.
