GV II

Stables and coach house, now used as garage and store. Probably C18 or
early C19. Painted local slate rubble. Asbestos slate hipped roof.
Plan: A detached building situated at right angles to the London Inn qv.
Rectangular on plan. The coach house is at the left hand end with wide
doorways at the front and rear. The integral stables are at the right hand
end with a central doorway at the front and a loft above. The left hand end
of the coach-house has been converted to lavatories.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 4-window range. C19 and C20 2 and 3-
light fixed windows with lapped panes of glass. To the left a wide doorway
to the coach house with a square section timber lintel. To the right a
doorway to the stables with a square section timber lintel and a C20 door;
above the stable doorway a loft doorway with a C20 plank door and a barrel
hoist in working order.
Interior was not inspected.
