Cottage, one of a pair. Early to mid C19. Plastered brick; Mansard slate roof
replacing a gabled-end roof with oval oculus in gable wall, visible in an undated
photograph in NMR. Single-depth cottage, probably originally a workshop with
accommodation above. 2 storeys, with attic.
Front: 3 window canted range, each window bay divided by tall brick buttresses. 2-
light attic casement windows. 1st floor: 1 blocked, 1 16-pane hornless sash window
and a C20 cantilever window; ground floor: 1 blocked and one 16-pane hornless sash
window with a door under simple canopy. No windows to side elevation adjoining
Church Cottage (q.v.). Church Masons has an unusual elevation and provides a
distinctive element in the group close to the south gate of the churchyard.
