1718, early C19. Cottage of 2 parts. The C19 west side, of 2 storeys one window, has
a tile roof, red brick walling in Flemish bond with cambered ground-floor openings,
plinth, casements (one old leaded light). The earlier east side is of one-storey and
attic, thatched roof with 'eyebrow' a massive tapered stack to the east gable is
associated with a small steep-tile-roofed outshot. Exposed timber frame with red brick
infill incorporating in blue bricks the figures 17.8 (1718). Old leaded upper
casement; plain boarded door.
