7/11 Lower Smite Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C18, altered late C19. Brick, part hand-made, part machine-
made brick replacement walling and extensions, plain tiled roof with raised
eaves level and also raised verges, large external brick rear stack with tiled
offsets and also brick stack at left side. T-shaped plan, long main range
on north/south axis with cross-wing at north end. Two storeys. Front elevation
regular fenestration, 1:3 windows, all with cambered heads and 16-pane sashes,
widely spaced to main range, and central late C19, part-glazed door with lean-to
lead canopy; there is a blocked entrance to the left of the central door. Late
C19 single storey additions at rear.
