Substantial detached house. Early C19. Cob, stone plinth, plastered under
thatched hipped roof. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys.
Front: 3 window range plus one window in return to left; hornless sash windows to
1st floor, one to left of doors, and 2 to inner face of front wing, all hornless
sashes, 6 panes per sash with margin panes, under hood moulds. 2 doors, the older
to the right, panelled, with trellised porch, the other in the angle formed by the
wing, also trellised with tented canopy. Late C19 or C20 square, single-storey bay
to right with 2 sashes. Internal stacks to rear and to side elevation, with brick
shaft. Fenestration to rear is C20. Much of the contemporary interior survives
with internal panelled shutters and wooden chimney pieces.
