House, mid C17, timber framed and plastered with red brick early C19 front.
Two storeys with a square plan form and an original 'L' shaped block with later
painted brick block infilling the north-east corner. Roofs are of clay pegtiles
with hips on angles and valley appearing on east facade. The front of flemish
bond red brick with irregular blue headers on the first floor 3 double hung sash
windows with small panes and painted timber lintels. On the ground floor, an
off-centre C20 red brick porch with hipped peg tile roof and 2 similar double
hung sash windows with segmental arched heads. Central rectangular, ridge line
stack over inglenook. Interior shows substantial framing with 'crosswing' like
structure for west wing. Hipped peg tile roofed and black boarded two storey
former granary linked to east facade, now parades.
