10/93 Two houses approximately 20m to
south west of Quail Cottage

GV II

Former detached house, now 2 houses in row. Early-mid C18, altered
to 2 houses mid C19. Random rubble limestone; ashlar chimneys,
part rebuilt in yellow brick; stone slate and concrete tile roof.
Two-storey with attic. Front: 3-window fenestration, all
chamfered mullioned with iron casements, 2-light except range of 3-
light to left. Two C19 doorways grouped at centre, left with Tudor
arch on detached octagonal columns and with crenellated top, 6-
panel door; right with plain doorway and 6-panel door. Off-centre
attic 2-light casements to gable ends. Gable end chimneys.
