C16 timber frame, encased in brick and extended to form square
plan in late C17 or early C18. Altered c1830. Painted brick,
old tile and slate roof. 2 storeys. Floor bands. 3 pegged oak
casement windows of 2 and 3 leaded lights. Restored parapet and
1st floor quoins. Pineapple finials. Cira 1830 conservatory
passage with Gothic crossed glazing bars. W and N garden
elevations each have 2, canted, 2-storey bay windows. 1st floor
windows on W side are old leaded casements, possibly C18, those
on N side are early C19 casement with Gothic leaded lights
and bracketed lead roofs. Large conjoined square chimney stack
to front range. Interior with good early C19 detail.
Extended on W side: C17/18 one-bay lean-to with mullioned and
leaded Ground and 1st floor windows on N side and C19/20 1-
storey and attic range with mansard roof.
